Research:

See pubication list below. Most of his research was about solar cells: thin film polycrystalline Cu(In,Ga)Se2, CuInS2, CdTe solar cells, nano-structured cells with porous TiO2 and thin CuInS2 absorbers, organic polymer solar cells.

From 1995 on,the research was focused on measuring, analysing and modelling of these types of solar cells. The modelling work resulted in the development of the simulation package SCAPS, that is distributed freely to the scientific PV community, and has now more than eight thousand registered users.

Marc will continue to develop, service and distribute SCAPS after his retirement.
